घर से दूर रहने पर

बदलता रहता है घर

कभी हर बरस

कभी दो-चार बरस बाद

कभी यह बदलता है शहर के साथ

कभी शहर में ही दूसरा हो जाता है घर

घर के साथ ही बदलती हैं

चीजें रखने की जगहें

कभी छोटा तो

कभी बड़ा लगने लगता है घर

हर घर के साथ

कुछ न कुछ टूटता है छिजता है, 

खत्म होता है

हर घर के साथ बहुत कुछ जुड़ता है

फिर भी

फिर भी

स्मृतियों में बसा रहता है

वही बचपन का घर

Away from home

when you stay away from home

the house keeps changing

sometimes every year

sometimes after two-three years

sometimes it changes with the city

sometimes there is another house in the same city

the places to keep things 

change with the house

sometimes the house seems 

very small and sometimes very big

with every house

something breaks inside us, 

some emotions 

and longings get lost,

a part of something

very close to heart ends

as if it never was 

a lot of things get added with every house

still

still

in the memories 

remain the home

where we spent our childhood
