132. There is neither a desire nor a need
The tragedy queen, Meena Kumari, has composed some beautiful poetry.
Here's one I'm sharing.
And here is its translation in English –
There is neither a desire nor a need.
Is death so beautiful?
If death is about to embrace you,
why do you need to stay awake?
We have tried life,
It is a statue made of clay and mud.
All the faces of the past are gathered together.
Is death the face of brides?
