89. Those Days (VII)
Continuing again, the seventh part of the poem (excerpt from one of my longer poems) -
VII
In retrospect everything
Each incident
Each accident
All make good stories
For nothing is more romantic than
Having survived to tell the tale
Always being in transit equips the days and
The pieces in the puzzle inexplicably fall into place
After all, unexpected things do turn up, don’t they?
These days, it’s comfortable to
Let our spirit yearn
For the refreshment of companionship
Because when guilt, hurt, loss, and fear
In fact, all feelings and uncertainties vanished
We enunciate disembodied whispers since
There cannot be any ideological vacuum
So keep breathing, keep surfing
Living an animated life at all costs
Still in transit
(From my poetry collection, “Always in Transit”)
